Sauron is a fearsome mutated pterodactyl. Surprisingly, that aspect of him is the least of your worries. What you really need to be concerned with is his ability to absorb the life force of other living beings to sustain his powers. He will hunt down the Heroes relentlessly to drain them, accumulating Crisis tokens. Then, he uses that power to greatly accelerate his Master Plan. To make the Heroes easy prey, he uses hypnosis to force them to play their cards randomly. Meanwhile, his Threats spread all the perils of the Savage Lands across the Locations.
